Once your school has achieved an Eco-Schools award at Bronze, Silver or Green Flag level, it is entitled to apply for a one-off Scottish Government grant of £100.
This money must be used to assist the school in its Eco-Schools work and schools are asked to supply information as to what the money will be spent on.
The Application Form for an Eco-Schools Scotland grant is automatically enclosed with a school's first Award Certificate.
The grant application form must be countersigned by the countersignatory whose name and contact details appear on the form. This is usually a local authority representative. This representative should then forward the completed form to the Eco-Schools Scotland office.
Once the form is received by the Eco-Schools Scotland team, it will be checked and sent for processing.
Please note that due to the huge demand for this grant programme, there may be several months' delay before a cheque can be issued to a school.
